The Kingswood are a rough shooting trouser which are made of 100% nylon. The material is waterproof and breathable and have fully taped seams. For extra functionality the Kingswood have articulated knees, patch pockets and a high rear waist with an assortment of pockets. I bought theses for use while beating and picking up around heavily wooded and wet areas as I wanted a waterproof alternative to my usual breaks and leggings. The trousers are excellent quality and feel very comfortable with room to move. The ankle zips making putting wellies on/off very easy. There is no thermal lining which is great on the sunny days as you don’t sweat so much but on a very cold day I would consider long johns underneath. I haven’t worn them in heavy rain yet so can’t assess their waterproof value. I ordered the 36” waist and they are a good fit with a high waist band but the leg length is “long” which for me at 5’10” is too long but still wearable.
